Where It Began

Greenville, South Carolina

Copperhide started in a garage in Greenville, South Carolina — not because it's trendy to say so, but because it's true. We set up shop here because this is where good leather work has always happened.

Greenville has a quiet tradition of leather craft. Small shops, careful hands, people who care more about the work than the spotlight. We wanted in on that.

We're not going to pretend we invented anything. We're curating. We're choosing. We're putting our name on things we've found that meet a standard — our standard.
